About the Author

Hey everyone, the author here.

I am a 26-year-old Coptic-American living in Los Angeles, California. For those unfamiliar with what “Coptic” means, it simply means Egyptian Christian. The Church is dear to my heart and it has guided my life since the beginning. What leads me to write about the proverbial so-called “second chance” is that I have been blessed to receive many of them, and would like to extend help to and/or receive feedback from those with something to say about the topic. I welcome all views and backgrounds as I know that this is not just an issue with a handful of kids, but with the youth, the married, the divorced, the separated, the elderly, the lonely, the popular, the ones of lower estate and the high-class. This is a group effort. It works best that way.

Hey, Anthony! I’m so glad your mom sent me the info about your blog. I don’t have time to read it right now (since I’m still at work).
What I have read so far, I really like!

Hi, Miss Van Stelle! I’m really glad we reconnected after all these years… Read up when you have a chance. I’m sure you’ll be excited to see how a former student came to love English and language in general to major in it in college and try to make this endeavor work!

Hey there! Love your blog. Go Coptic English majors (I majored in that too!)!! 😀

  3. Hi Anthony, my name is Fallynn and I am not Egyptian. However, my dear friend George Sorial is Egyptian and this blog meant a great deal to him. Will you please add me as a subscriber? I know that he would have liked that very much. My only regret is waiting for such a long time to write to you. Maybe you have a post on regret! 🙂 God Bless us all….
